Raleigh’s NEW Convention Center

I recently attended the recent Greater Raleigh Convention and Visitors Bureau Annual Luncheon as a guest of my friend Janice Mrkonjic, owner of Savvy Event Designs (Gold Level Sponsor). The new convention center is absolutely beautiful and at moments, I felt as though I was in a different city. A very metropolitan atmosphere, with lots of light, open space and beautiful art work! The annual luncheon celebrated the new opening, along with honoring several key people who were instrumental in the grand complex. In addition, many awards were handed out, along with the recognition of numerous influential sponsors of our community. I was thrilled to be a part of this special celebration (thanks Janice!).
